Get A GRIP and Read Beverly Weeks New Book

Webster’s Dictionary defines the word Mom as not only the female parent but also as feeling of maternal tenderness or affection. But in the book Get A G.R.I.P. by my fabulous friend Beverly Weeks, Mom comes to mean something else especially when you are in the middle of a mommy crisis.

How awesome it is to think about the word M.O.M in that way- not only do moms tend to the needs of others but the Lord is tending to our needs as well.

This is just one of the many tidbits that can be found in this delightful book. Beverly not only shares about God’s love but also uses very personal details from her own life as examples.

I will have to say even though I had heard some of her stories before; I was still wrapped up in the reading of the book. And the fact, that I can say I knew her before her ministry took off is amazing.

Beverly is an absolutely beautiful person (inside and out) She has such a great personality that you can’t help but be drawn to her. Not only does she writes books, but she is also the executive director of our local pregnancy center, an amazing preacher, a wife and a mom of two beautiful children. Seriously folks you should hear her speak, she gives me goosebumps. Plus I can also add that she is a blogger as well. In fact, she has blogged for me in the past.
