With a daughter about to go off to college I have started to think about some great gifts for the college student and this is one that should be on the top of your list, a sewing kit.
Materials:
- Mason jar with lid
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Scrap fabric
- Cotton
- Items to put in sewing kit
Directions:
Take the top lid off the Mason jar. Glue the cotton onto the top of the lid and then hot glue the fabric on top of that, making sure to cover the sides. Place inside items for the kit. (You can buy these at the dollar store.) Place the lid back on the jar.
This kit would be great for college students or anyone who lives on their own.
What a cute gift idea!!!
