Something I Feel Strongly About

The topic today was little tough for me to decided on but ultimately it was the best decision.

The state of North Carolina, which is my beloved state, recently passed a budget that increases the amount of students in classrooms, cutting teacher assistants, and did not give teachers raises. To me, I think that is a poor decision by our political leaders, they would not be where they are right had it not been for the teachers that they have growing up. How can our children have a chance at an awesome future if there is no value on education. I have seen many of my teacher friends spend money out of their own pockets so that can have much needed supplies for their classrooms. Our state has an Education lottery. Where is all that money going to?? Inquiring minds want to know? Let’s support our educators because they are the future for our children.
