Are you a breakfast skipper?

 

 

Now that school is back in session, I am always looking for yummy breakfast ideas. There are several things that you can make for a quick and easy meal to start your day off. If you are like me, we are always rushing out the door and grabbing a bit as we are leaving. Here are just a few ideas that can make your breakfast more enjoyable.

  • Smoothies are a great choice for breakfast. And you make a healthy version by using soy milk and fruit. There is nothing better on a hot morning than to drink an ice cold smoothie. These are quick and easy to make. You can make your own or you can buy the prepackaged ones from the grocery store.
  • Eggs are another quick and easy breakfast meal. There are tons of things you can do with eggs. You can cook them several different ways and you also make eggs into a breakfast quiche the night before and just heat it up.
  • Of course there is the old standby of pancakes that you can make ahead of time and freeze. Then when the mood strikes for pancakes you just pop some in the microwave and breakfast is ready.
  • And let’s not forget the bread products and yogurt.

With any of these suggestions, you will be sure to have a yummy breakfast for those quick mornings.
