New Restaurant = New Experience

I am so excited that tonight I will be attending a preview of a new restaurant in Durham. I am a little nervous about going but I have a really good friend, Queen Jarrell going with me. She said as long as I did the navigating she would do the driving which totally works for me.

The new restaurant we will be checking out is Mesa Latin Kitchen in Durham. I admit that I am a little nervous about going but remember one of my goals this year is to be open to new experiences. And this will definitely be a new experience. Mesa Latin Kitchen does not officially open until July 17th but a select few people of the media were invited to preview what the restaurant has to offer. From everything I have read about this restaurant to say I am excited is an understatement. But with that excitement comes a little bit of anxiety. New situation, new food, and meeting new people. Just read this description.

Mesa Latin Kitchen is a modern, tapas-style restaurant in Durham, North Carolina offering a unique array of sensational Latin cuisine. Each of Mesa’s mouthwatering dishes is full of bold Latin flavors, with each recipe masterfully created by renowned James Beard Award winner, Chef Douglas Rodriguez. Patrons can indulge in a meal and drinks inside the spacious restaurant, at the custom cement-topped bar or outside on the beautiful patio. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. The restaurant is also open on Sunday for brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 9 p.m
