Join Me at the WOW Summit in October #WOWSummit

Ever have one those OMG moments where you think this will never happen but when it does you can’t help smiling from ear to ear. That has been me for several weeks now as I found out that I will be attending the #WOWSummit from Moms Meet in October. Not only I am able to have a little mom vacation for the weekend, but my friend Laura from 27 Words who is fairly new to blogging is coming with me.

Laura, you might remember from these posts, Ladies Night and What People Actually Think of Me, was the first person I asked to join me on this journey. First because when you are going to conference it is better to go with a friend. And it is better to go with a friend who will make you talk and Laura is definitely that friend. She is as excited and nervous as I am about the conference, which will take place this year at  National Harbor, MD (8 miles from Washington D.C.). I will admit I am excited that I finally get out of North Carolina even if it is just for the weekend of October 7-8.

Why did I want to attend this conference? First, because it is a chance to meet other bloggers and network, as well as connecting with brands. Most of the brands there are gluten-free, organic, and non-GMO, I can’t wait to grab up some of their free samples. As most of you know, we started on the journey of healthy eating when Gracie was diagnosed with Epilepsy back in 2014. So knowing that I will be able to connect with brands like Solgar, National Geographic Kids, Tasty Bite and Mary’s Gone Crackers just to name a few is a huge plus for me.

But I will also admit that I am little nervous about their special networking event to be held on Friday night. They call it speed dating for bloggers and brands. And I remember how nervous I was when I was dating so many moons ago. Put in front of an adult and I am at a loss for words, but put me in front of a classroom of children and I can go on and on.

I am excited the most by the workshops that will be held Friday. These are mainly focused on bloggers. How to Create Fast and Easy Blog Content, and how to make your blogs go viral are two workshops that I really hope I will be able to attend.
