Wrapping Up in Pictures
Today will be last day of my posts about the NASCAR Hall of Fame we had an incredible time there. There are so many hands on displays that I could spend hours ( well not hours) but at least paragraphs about it. But instead I will just show you through pictures some of the other things it has to offer but there is still more you will have to visit the Hall of Fame to figure it out for yourself. Way to leave you hanging right? So let me wrap it up in pictures.
View from the Skybox. The banking is supposed to represent the banking at Talladega Speedway in Alabama.
Checking out Tony Stewart’s car.
Trying their hands at announcing the race.
View a movie in their state of the art theater. If only all movie theaters were this comfortable.
Check out the hauler. As Mikaela says it is so high tech. I was impressed with how clean it was.
Get a picture with the car of your favorite driver. Remember when I said that the picture of Gracie with Dale Jr.’s car was deleted. It wasn’t I forget I was taking the picture with my iPad. LOL
See you name on the Leader board even if they spell it wrong. Raul and Maddie were in car 2.
Check out the posters on the outside of the building.
While you are checking out the posters check out the bricks in the front as well.
Of course don’t forget to take your picture outside of the building as well. You can see the cars through the windows. And the last picture I want to leave you with before we journey to the SeaLife Aquarium is this one. I love this quote by “The King” Richard Petty which Mikaela is doing a great job showing off.
If only every celebrity would be as gracious as The King. That is true southern hospitality at its best.
Remember the NASCAR Hall of Fame is open daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (schedule subject to change) and has an attached parking garage on Brevard Street in Charlotte, NC. Adult admission is $19.95, military/senior admission is $17.95 and children admission is $12.95 (ages 5-12). Children younger than 5 are free. Ticket combos and group discounts also are available..
I hope you enjoyed our trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Tomorrow we are going under the sea.
Disclosure: My family and I received complimentary passes in exchange for this review. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
