Valentine Bookmark Craft
This is such an easy craft for kids of all ages. Pair with Valentine Bookmark Craft with a reading of your favorite Valentine storybook and you have the making for a great party.
Here are all you need to make these cute projects.
Materials Needed:
- Big Paperclips – if you use the colorful ones that will make sparkle even more.
- Foam Heart Stickers- I found these at Walmart but you can find similiar ones here.
- You can create your own card to clip them to. Or you can grab this one on Pinterest.
Directions:
- Take the backing off the foam hearts and place the sticky side on the paper clip and then cover the backside with the other foam heart.
They also double as great hairbows as well.
This is a really easy craft to do with your children. It can also foster their love of reading. Especially if you create a reading event around it. Think book swap or even as a valentine for them to give during their classroom party.
I know the store brought Valentines are so much easier because you let them pick them and out and then they are done. But think about all the quality time and the memories you will be making with your children when you sit down and make these for their class.
Also this Valentine Bookmark Craft would be a great community service project for a scouting troop. They can distribute them to nursing homes, Senior Citizens, Hospice units, and hospitals. There are a number of ways that these can be used.
