Most children when they go to bed at night they are scared of the monster under their bed? But in a unique twist, Ally Nathaniel turns the tables and shows that the monster is scared of the child he think is under his bed.

I absolutely love the idea behind this book. First because we have monsters in our lives that we are scared. Mine happens to be talking in front of a room of adults- children I have problem talking to but adults forget. I start shaking and I create a new Olympic sport called speed talking.

I love how Nathaniel addresses that monsters are people too and they are just like us with fears of their own. If you dig deeper, you can even apply it to prejudice. A lot of prejudice is bought about because people are afraid of the unknown and they are not willing to try and understand.

This would be such a cute book to use for a guidance lesson in school. Teaching the kids about how people look different but in the long run we are all the same.

Nathaniel is also the author of Sparkly Me and Fabulous Me. which I have reviewed before. Another wonderful thing about this book is the price. It is $1.99 on Amazon. But if have a Prime membership to Amazon it is free. Now that is frugal lesson that I would love to have.
