Tijuana Flats Heats Up the Holidays with Deals, Donations

Giving Back Series from North Carolina Lifestyle Blogger Adventures of Frugal Mom

It is officially December. And you know what that means? It is the start of my giving back series. Each day this month I will post either a way you can give back or profile organizations that give back. So check back every day to check out ways you can give back.  Today I have a post from one of my favorite restaurants Tijuana Flats.

Tijuana Flats

Tijuana Flats is spicing up the holiday season with unexpected extras, the hottest holiday party spreads, and feel-good gifts.

The Tex-Mex favorite is celebrating the holidays the only way they know how—with real heat and great deals. Starting this month, guests can go online or head to their nearest restaurant to take advantage of the following seasonal specials:

Sleigh the holiday party with Tijuana Flats’ freshly catered fare. Catering options begin at just $7.99 per person and ensure the crowd is pleased while the white elephant gifts are passed around.

Spread joy. Give tacos and get a bonus gift for yourself. From Nov. 12 – Dec. 31, guests that buy $25 in gift cards, in-store or online, will receive $5 in bonus bucks, which can be redeemed at all Tijuana Flats locations Jan. 2 – Feb. 28, 2019.

Deck the halls with habanero. Feel good and feel the heat with limited-edition ‘Smack My A** and Call Me Santa’ habanero hot sauce. Full-sized bottles of the seasonal sauce are available for purchase in-stores and online from Nov. 12 – Dec. 31. Plus $3 from the sale of each bottle will benefit the Tijuana Flats Just In Queso Foundation®.

“At Tijuana Flats, there’s room for everyone on the nice list,” said Rick Van Warner, CEO. “So, whether you’re wishing for a different kind of spice, a gift card that keeps on giving, to host a worry-free holiday party with a taco bar or to take some time to give back, we’ve got you covered.”

In addition to lively holiday promotions, Tijuana Flats is kick-starting the season of giving, having recently raised $150,000 during the annual Just In Queso Foundation gala. One hundred percent of the funds raised during the event directly benefit the Just In Queso Foundation, which supports organizations providing aid for children, military and the local community.

To date, the Foundation has distributed more than $3.5 million and has provided countless community service hours since it was founded in 2007. Most recently, the Just In Queso Foundation raised $110,000 for their ‘Chip in the Fight Against Cancer’ campaign, which directly supported Florida Hospital for Children and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
