The Most Amazing Cookies Ever

Making cookies is a favorite pastime for my family. My girls love when the holidays come around because they know that it is baking time. I pull out the ingredients for cookies and off we go. There is no set way to make amazing cookies, because everyone tastes are different. I consider cookies to be amazing when my girls and I have enjoyed our time in the kitchen baking those cookies. They are involved from the beginning to the end of the cookie making process. I have found that baking in the kitchen is a great way to help your child with their math and reading skills as well. I have them measure and mix and read the directions out to me. Then once the cookies are ready to go into the oven, the fun starts. We get out all the stuff to decorate the cookies. This has to be our favorite part. I love how creative my girls are when they decorate their cookies. Granted they might not be the perfect cookies that you find at a bakery, but they are still amazing. Why do you ask because the time and love that were spent on making those cookies?

Cookies from a bakery= expensive and perfect.

Cookies from home made with my girls= Priceless and beyond perfect.
