All for Hope by Olivia Hardin is a unique twist to a romance novel. You know the story boy grows up with girl, girl like boy, boy is not ready for relationship, breaks girl heart, girl forgives and the merry go round starts again. Yep that is the basis behind the story except there is a kidnapping twist and girl goes on the run.

Here is brief summary of the book.

Kidnapping a baby wasn’t something Hope ever dreamed she would do. But she’s been burned by the legal system before, so when the court places her friend’s child into the custody of an abuser, she takes matters into her own hands. She steals the baby and fakes her death, hoping to make a clean getaway. She planned every detail, except one. Her high school sweetheart and best friend, who left her years before, sees her at a gas station. Hope thinks all is lost, until he offers to help them. Brennan had always been the love of Hope’s life, but he never wanted to be. She knows she cannot depend on him for long. However, as each day passes, it becomes painfully obvious that she is in way over her head. She goes with him, intending to keep him always an arm’s length away to protect her heart. But being on the run together sparks the old flames that once burned between Brennan and Hope. Families, friends, and lovers must band together to save an innocent baby and a daring woman or both of their lives will be destroyed. Together, they’ll do it All for Hope…

I will have to say that this book was an awesome read. I know what you are thinking I always say that but folks remember I only write reviews for those that I like. I loved that at the beginning of the book Hope is a woman of mystery. I wasn’t sure what she had done and why she was going on the run? It is only after she encounters Brennan that the real story of her kidnapping baby Michelle and why she is on the run comes out.

Hope is a very strong character. She could have lived the life of luxury as her family is well off. But instead she chose to help those that she felt needed it. That is how she met Michelle’s mom Justine. It is only Justine is convicted of murder does Hope see that the only way to keep Michelle safe from her grandfather was to kidnap her.

I also loved how the relationship between Hope and Brennan develops from one of necessity to friendship and finally blossoms into love.  But another cool thing that I loved about this book was the back story of Brennan and how he struggled to overcome alcoholism and finally come to terms with what he wants from his life. During the journey that Hope and Brennan are on, Brennan discovers that he has a family that he did not know existed.

Yep, there is a little bit of everything romance, intrigue, mystery and crime.
