Quote of The Day

mom world

I posted a rant on my personal Facebook page yesterday about how one of my girls is dealing with a situation at  school. You see there is one girl who seems to make it her life work go around telling people that our family is poor. She has made my daughter’s life miserable. I will admit that we might not have a lot of amount but it is not because of lack of trying. You I worked when Maddie was first born and until she was 2 1/2 I was torn between working and staying home. When I became pregnant with my middle daughter, I was able to stay home and take care of both of my babies. I did not go back to work until after all three of my girls were in school. That was a choice that both my husband and I made together. We knew that sometimes it would be a struggle but knew in the long run it was for the best. We don’t use credit cards and yes we may have to stretch that paycheck a little further but that doesn’t mean we are poor.

Now by no mean am I knocking the moms who do work, everyone makes the choices that are right for them and their family. For us, the decision was easy our family has always been and will always be the most important thing to us.
