Our Day at The Beach

As I mentioned on Sunday, we spent the day at the beach. I love the beach but I am always exhausted when I get back from it.  There was a little excitement there. It seems that there was a 6 foot tiger shark not far from shore. We did not tell our daughters until we were on the way home. They had just recently seen the movie, Soul Surfer (which if by the way you haven’t you need to see it. I cried all the way through the movie. It is a movie for the whole family.) So shark attacks were still fresh in their mind. But I digress. We had a really good time at the beach so I thought I would share some pictures with you.

Gracie jumping for Joy ready to hit the waves.
Mikaela designing houses in the sand.
Raul, Gracie, and Maddie enjoying the water.
This is a little park at the beach.
Of course no beach trip would be complete with dinner.
Most people eat seafood at the beach but not us it was Mexican all the way.
Of course since my sister is buried at the beach we go to grave site to put new flowers on it.
This picture was taken at the graveyard. The swans are so beautiful.
After we left there, we started for home.
I hate driving in the rain.
But I am thankful it held off long enough for us to go to the beach.
