#MyMemoryLane Memories Preserved by YesVideo

Holiday season is a time for family and friends. I think this past Thanksgiving we were truly blessed as we had everyone in my family together. My two sisters and their families and my family all gathered at my parents’ house to celebrate Thanksgiving. This was the first time in a long time that we all were together as normally one of my nephews is at his dad’s for either Christmas or Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving meant so much to us because this year has been a hard one on my family, and not just for my immediate family but also others in my family as well.

As we gathered around we decided to watch old videotapes of past holidays when all the kids were little. They are 19, 19, 16, 15, and 12 now. That got me thinking that wouldn’t it be nice to be able to watch all these precious family moments on a DVD player instead of a VCR. That is when I started researching if there  were places available that perform such a service and that is when I came across YesVideo. I loved that with YesVideo each family member can place their own orders or they can combine the videos and order a customized DVD. I wish that we had videoed this past Thanksgiving because who knows what will happen in a year.

With my dad not feeling well I often wonder how many more Thanksgivings we will have with him. I want to remember his voice, his laugh and just everything about him. He has and will always be my hero. As I am writing this post I am in tears not wanting to think of a day when he is not around. That is why it is so important to preserve those family memories.

And with YesVideo I can do just that. I can place my order at the photo counter at any of  these stores- Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart or CVS/Pharmacy. They accept all kinds of videos. (VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, movie film reels, and 35 mm slides) Their process is safe and secure. They handle your memories like they were their own. And remember home movies make a unique Christmas gift. Orders normally take 3-4 weeks to complete so order now to have them in time for Christmas.
