Make A First Aid Kit for Your Car With Cardinal Health
“Cardinal Health sent me this product to try, and donated to a charity of my choice.”
Last year when I had my shoulder surgery as a result of the accident, I was sent home from the hospital with an ice pack, a shoulder sling and not much else. Sure I had a bandage over my stitches but there were no extra sent home. We had to buy a lot of the supplies and they were not covered by my insurance. I have often thought to myself it would have been so much easier if we were told that we would need to buy the supplies ourselves so we would have been prepared.
I just wish that we had something like the Cardinal Health Kit on hand for after the surgery. In fact, I have found that it comes in handy for even when you haven’t had surgery. In fact I made a kit to have on hand in case of emergency for my car. Using samples from Cardinal Health and a plastic container I got at the dollar store, I came up with this cool first aid kit.
Just look at all this cool stuff.
- Plastic gloves
- Silicone Bordered Foam Dressing- this is great for cuts and scrapes as well as some other things.
- Transparent Dressing – My Mom used this a lot of my dad and swore by them. Toward the end of my dad’s life his skin was very fragile and this was the only thing that worked.
- Hydrocolloid Dressing- This will help to prevent leakage from the wound.
- Protective Underpads- This is great to put under the wounds when you are cleaning them up.
I feel better knowing that I have these great products made by such a great company like Cardinal Health, which has providing products like these for nearly a 100 years. Did you know that most hospitals use their products and now they have launched a at home line, so we can get the same quality as hospitals? I was surprised that people have never thought of making these before because each year there are about 46.1 million surgeries performed.
That is a lot of surgeries as with these amazing products that cover a huge range of needs it is very much-needed.I love that this items are great for minor and a major wounds. I know I feel safe having it in my car. Also while you are here check out this cool infographic.
