How to Make an Inexpensive Meal

It seems like the price of everything is rising but the amount of money in your paycheck. In this economy, you have to be creative when it comes to meal time. One of the most inexpensive ways to create a gourmet meal is to make a salad. My family has found many to make a salad into a meal. Besides lettuce, a major staple in our salads are hard boiled eggs. You see we have two chickens, Tinkerbell and Lollie, who provide us with plenty of eggs. So yes eggs are main ingredient in every dish. Next we love to add in fresh vegetables. If you have a garden, then you feel a since of pride when you are eating something that you yourself have grown. Having a garden can be time consuming, but with the price of vegetables increasing you might come to realize it that it is worth the time you spent on it. We normally have a small garden but last year we did not have the time for it. Add in lunch meat of your choice or you can use meat that was leftover from another meal and some salad dressing and you have an inexpensive mea1 that can be appetizing to anyone in your family.
