Hail Merry Anyone!!!
I was recently given the opportunity to sample a new and delicious snack. For those of that are new to the blog and as a reminder to the older followers I am always searching for snacks that are nutritious and well as taste delicious. A big plus for us is it being gluten free. When I was asked to review these macaroons I thought sure why not. I was surprised by how good they tasted. I thought why not let my daughters’ friends try with out to. One of the friends said they so would buy them as a snack and wanted to know where she could get them . I liked the fact that they were raw, vegan , gluten free and best of all it had no refined sugar.
I was able to sample the blonde and chocolate gluten free macaroons. Macaroons also happen to be my favorite cookies. I don’t get them often so these were a treat for me.
Here is some more info on Hail Merry, they are made with organic shredded coconut, almond flour, organic expeller pressed coconut oil, pure maple syrup, organic Mexican vanilla and sea salt. (3.5 oz. bag, 8 pieces per bag.) Dehydrated at low temps and made with organic expeller pressed coconut oil. If you eat these at room temp they will literally melt in your mouth! I tried that and all I can say is OMGosh!!! The chocolate macaroons would be so good with a glass of milk. Their certified gluten-free vegan macaroons do not contain refined sugars but they are full of fiber and offer the health benefits of raw coconut oil. These look good! I love macaroons but don't buy them often because I'm the only one in the house who would eat them.
