FromThe Garden to Grill Kabobs
Recently, we were blessed with some yummy vegetables from a friend’s garden. She was so sweet to share her abundant bounty from her garden with us. I was given these Tuesday morning and by Tuesday night that have found their way onto our dinner table. Yea I didn’t wait to eat this yummy food. It was so easy to make that I know you will be inspired to make these yummy kabobs. And they are so easy to make and prepare that I know that you will be making these as well.
From Garden to Grill Kabobs
Ingredients
- 2 squash
- 2 zucchini
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 bottle Italian dressing
- wooden skewers
- 1 package chicken breast strips
Instructions
- Cut all the vegetables and chicken breast into chunks.
- With the wooden skewers in hand place the vegetables and chicken on it, alternate between vegetables and chicken until the skewers are full to the point that you would like them to be.
- Place in a glass baking dish, a pour a bottle of Italian Dressing over the kabobs. Place in refrigerator until you are ready to place on grill.
- Fire up and the grill and cook the kabobs until done. You have all your vegetables and meat in one dish.

There is nothing like fresh food from the garden! We are hoping to enjoy our first zucchini any day now and can’t wait. BBQ is so easy and less dishes to clean after 🙂 Thank you for the idea and recipe. Will definitely try some kabobs this week.
