Once you know your skin type, be sure to pick a soap that works best for it, and wash once in the morning and evening. Having a great face serum is critical to any skincare routine. It can help fight existing damage as well as protect your skin from any future harm. It can even brighten your complexion and help clear your skin. Make sure to use it right after you wash your face with warm water. This way, your pores will be open and will take in more of the serum’s nutrients and vitamins.

3. Take Your Vitamins

It’s really important to talk to your physician before taking anything, but when possible, taking a vitamin supplement can help keep your hair, skin, and nails healthy. Hydration is key! People say it all the time, but it’s so true. Make sure you’re getting plenty of water. You need to drink a lot more water if you’re breastfeeding, especially. Keep a water bottle with you at all times and be sure to drink from it as often as you feel thirsty. Water flushes toxins from your body and helps keep your skin glowing and thriving. So, drink up!

5. Sleep (As Much As You Can)

Sleep isn’t always in the cards, as a new parent, but when you can sleep, do it as much as you can. It’s tough when you have a house to clean or work to do, but your skin repairs itself while you sleep. So, you need to make sure you’re catching plenty of Zzz’s for your skin’s sake as well as your sanity.
