Carowinds Has Something for Everyone #LuvCarowinds
Whether you are a thrill seeker or just enjoy walking around and seeing the sights, Carowinds is a must have place to see. Recently my family and I visited this amazing Amusement park as part of the Caro-Bloggers program. As we walked around looking at the sights I was amazed with how beautiful and colorful the park really is. The greenery and flowers are to die for. I can just imagine how many hours of manpower that are spent making this park so absolutely gorgeous.
The colors of the amusement parks rides just seemingly blend in with the natural landscape as if they were created by Mother Nature to be a part of this amazing place. If there is one ride that allows you to see the beauty of this park, it would be the Carolina Skytower. It takes you 320 feet up in the air and allows you to see everything the park has to offer without the scare factor.
I will admit that it was a little scary when the tower first started to move but it was almost like we were floating on air.The view was breathtaking and I love how I was able to see the Charlotte skyline from the distance. It is a ride that I will definitely be wanting to go on again in the near future. Look for a post soon about this ride including a video.
And if you are big Peanuts cartoon fan than this park is a definite must see. Not only do they have Planet Snoopy but there are tons of statues placed around the park. And of course the Peanuts Characters are walking around and it is a great photo opp. We were able to see Lucy and Sally at the park and I was able to get a picture with these two. I mean you can’t go to an amusement park without taking pictures with the Peanuts gang.
And if you are a music lover, there are tons of concerts planned for this summer. Not to mention the performers that travel throughout the park on any normal day. We were able to capture a show by the Carowinds Brass Brigade. See if you can figure out what song they are planning in this video?
They also have a water park, Boomerang Bay. We did not get to experience that this time but plans are already being made to check out it real soon. So you are thinking okay there are the rides, the characters, and live music performances what else is there to the park? The food. You can’t go without tasting some of the amazing fare. Just check out my turkey burger and fries from Harmony Hall. Yummy.
So you see Carowinds has something for everyone, so if you are ever in the Charlotte, NC or Fort Mill, SC area this is a must see attraction for all.
I am an official Caro-Blogger and have been provided season passes in exchange for sharing my experiences, events and promotions. But the way I fell in love with this park is all my own.
