Becoming Bea : A Must Read

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy for the sole purpose of this review. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.

Imagine not feeling like you have a purpose in life- that you are silently floating through life- wanting to have a purpose but seeing nothing in sight. Every felt like that than you can definitely identify with Bea the main character in Becoming Bea by Leslie Gould.

Here is a brief summary of the book.

becoming bea

Beatrice Zook knows God wants her to learn patience towards others. When assisting a family overwhelmed by triplets proves surprisingly successful, her confidence in dealing with others, both young and old, grows. One person she’ll never be able to find peace with though is Ben Rupp. They’ve known each other forever, and Ben understands precisely how to antagonize her. What neither she nor Ben will admit is that beneath all their bickering, attraction awaits. When friends decide to try and bring the couple together, will the pair be able to find truelove? Or will they damage their relationship beyond repair.

I loved that Bea finally learns her true self-worth when she learns to not dwell on her own life but by helping others. She is definitely a character, I could relate too. I also love that she is able to gain her independence by helping others. If youare looking for a good book to read that is set in the Amish countryside then this is the book for you. And that fact that it throws in a little bit of relationship problems and romance makes this a must read. This book would be a great book to read on an airplane when you travelling this holiday season.
