Apps For Fitness and Weight Loss

There are a lot of apps out there on the market and I noticed that some are better than others, so I am going to try to make a weekly blog post about apps that can assist you with anything that you need. This week blog post is about aps for fitness and weight loss. I will be telling you about four apps that can assist you in all your weight loss or fitness goals.

  • Workout Trainer– (Free) This app provides a number of free workouts based on what your goals are for you fitness levels and how much time you have to work out. Like most free apps you get a limited amount of stuff but you can upgrade for a fee to the premium level. I would suggest not upgrading until you know you like the app.
  • Fitness Buddy– ($1.99) This is like having your own little library of fitness exercises for every major muscle group right at your fingertips. You can also download Legs Trainer, Chest Trainer and Arms Trainer for free. Those apps are made by the same company. The exercises provided are a limited number but still it will get you where you need to be fitness wise.
  • Runtastic (Cost) – This app uses GPS to track your distance, time, speed and calories burned. I know you probably thinking to yourself but I am not a runner but this can be used for any long distance sport.
  • 7 Minute Workout – ($1.99) This is just what the name says it is a seven minute workout will assist you incorrectly exercising as well as timing. Some of the free workouts are free but some do cost a small amount. If you are on the go a lot than this is the app for you.

I know there are so many more apps on the market for fitness and weight loss but these are just a few I found. What apps do you use to help you track your goals?
