An Alphabet Trip to The Limerick Zoo is a fun way for children to not only learn about the alphabet but also learn about animals as well. In this unique book written by Jeanette Ramirez, a picture of an animal is on one page and then on the next page is the limerick about the animal.
I was impressed with the details on the illustrations of the animals. When I found out that it also comes as a coloring book version then I though what a great teaching tool. (That is the teacher in me coming out.) Imagine if you can reading the story to your child or your students doing a page a day or week to enhance their learning. What a fun activity it is color as well. This book makes learning fun. This would be a great gift for an expectant mom. a toddler, a preschooler, a child of any age or a teacher. I am so excited to be reviewing this book the same week as when we went to the zoo ourselves.
