Adorable Peep Cupcakes
It doesn’t feel like Easter without some Peeps. They were my dad’s absolute favorites. I have seen Peeps used in so many ways. In fact, a few years ago when my oldest was still in high school her English teacher gave them the assignment to create a peep show using Peeps for one of the books they were reading. That assignment made a lasting impression on my oldest. She still remembers how much she learned doing this project as well as how much fun it was.
Well, today is all about the peeps. Although I am not going to show you how to create a peep show, I am going to tell you how to create these adorable peep cupcakes. But before I do that here is a little background about these cute little marshmallow peeps.
Did you know that they have been around since 1953? That originally Peeps were made by hand and took over 27 hours to produce them. But thanks to modern technology they are made within 6 minutes from start to finish. They originally came in one shape that was the chick and was only made at Easter. Now however they come in a variety of shapes and are available throughout the year. How awesome is that?
Well, enough about the history of peeps here is how to use these yummy marshmallow treats to make these adorable cupcakes.
