A Thankful Heart is A Happy Heart

As I continue to reflect on my life and all the things that I am thankful for.  I will continue to write about some of the things I am thankful for each week. I see this as not only a way to make myself accountable but also showing that a thankful heart is happy heart. So here are some of the things I am thankful for this week.

Having all three of my girls under one roof. Maddie was home for a little bit this week as she is on Spring break. I never knew how much I missed her being here, even though she is 3 hours away I still miss her.

Safe travels to a family event this weekend. Even though we didn’t feel good we still made the trek an hour and a half away to celebrate my nephew’s 16th birthday. Thankful for time spent with family and for no accidents along the way.

4 soccer games in a week. One of those was a Carolina Railhawks game. Can’t believe the season is finally coming. And the fact that some of our faves are back playing for the Railhawks is a huge plus for me. And yes da Luz is back.

And the other three games were my middle daughter’s high school soccer games.

Family Movie Night – we were blessed to have been chosen to be part of VocalPoint’s first ever movie night experience, I will be sharing about this experience later this week. It was also bittersweet as Robin Williams is in this movie. But Dexter the monkey is just to darn cute.

I am thankful for being able to wake up everyday and for the pain the I am experiencing in my lower left hip as it is a sign that I am still alive. I am also thankful for people like Kara Tippetts that lives her life one day at a time and that even though she is certain death will be soon she is choosing to face it with peace and dignity.
