Top Tips for your Holiday in Disneyland, Paris

Top Tips for your Holiday in Disneyland, Paris from North Carolina Lifestyle Blogger Adventures of Frugal Mom

If you’ve decided you’re going on a holiday to Disneyland Paris you’re no doubt full of excitement. Taking a holiday in this part of the world is a lot of fun and promises to be a holiday you’ll never forget. But did you know that there are a few things you can do to make it even better? let’s take a look at a few tips that I’m sure you’ll appreciate:

Don’t Automatically go for the Cheapest Hotel

While many of us do what we can to save a bit of cash, choosing the cheapest hotel and the cheapest room could be a mistake. If you’re traveling with your family you may want your hotel to be as close as possible. When little ones get tired they may need the chance to take a nap, which will be impossible if your hotel is a 10-minute drive away.

If you can, book a Disney hotel so you can pop back to your room when it’s time for that afternoon nap. Even though booking a room in one of the hotels does tend to cost a little more, you’ll be so glad you paid for one!

Wear Comfortable Shoes

One of the very best things you can do during your stay at Disneyland is to wear comfortable shoes. You’re going to be walking a lot, probably more than you realize which means you’ll need your most comfortable shoes to traipse around in. So forget those favorite shoes that go with nearly every outfit, opt for something you can happily wear for hours on end.

Get A Fastpass Ticket!

The first time I went to Disneyland I purchased a Fastpass ticket which was a real winner, so much so that I’ve been using them ever since. Fastpass tickets work by helping you to jump the queue, the only catch is you have to use them at a specific time of day. You can pretty much stroll up to a ride at the assigned time and jump on it within a matter of minutes.

It’s surprising how many people don’t buy these tickets and end up waiting for a least 30 minutes to get on a ride. Buy Fastpass tickets from machines that are located in the park, so spend a little more cash to get on the rides quicker.

Take your Own Snacks

While you may have no issue spending money on your tickets, hotel stay and anything else that crops up, you may also want to save some cash now and again. When it comes to getting a bite to eat, why not take your own snacks? They will save you quite a bit of cash and save you from waiting in the queues at restaurants/cafes.

Don’t worry about not having enough water with you, you can always fill your bottles up at the many drinking fountains in the park.

Going to Disneyland means you’re going to have a lot of fun, but why not make your time there even more fun by using the above tips. You’ll be glad you did!
