Today we are talking dirty and do you know the best place to talk dirty is? The bathroom. Let’s face it there are some pretty messy things going on in there. First look around your bathroom, is it clean or is it lets hit the high spots clean. We always have a ton of visitors at our house any given day. Whether it’s friends of ours or friends of the girls, the bathrooms seem like revolving doors. With so many people having to go, I am always looking for ways to keep the bathroom fresh and looking its best. Here are some awesome tips that I have discovered in the course of my years as a wife and mother.

First, if you have shower doors, that doesn’t mean that you can’t have shower curtains. A decorative curtain can go a long way to spruce up the bathroom. Even if you don’t have a rod to hang the curtains from, just go to your local department store and buy a tension rod and then hang the curtains. Hang curtains on either side of the shower doors and tie back with some tulle and you will add a very dramatic punch to your bathroom. Invest in some decorative soaps to place on the counter as well as some nice smelling potpourri. These tips are just window dressing, now let’s get down to the below the surface.
