Spring Break Has Hit Our House

Today was the official start of Spring Break for the schools here. Gracie and I started ours at 11:30 yesterday morning only because it was Field Day at the Elementary School. Because of the bite and the infection that ensued, she was not able to compete so after working 1/2 day myself I decided to check her out and we came home and snuggled on the couch. We never get to have that time because afterschool it is normally homework and teenagers activities that we have to. My oldest plays soccer for her high school. So lots of games away and home. So yesterday we snuggled on the couch and watched Alvin and  The Chipmunks Chipwrecked. I love spending time with my girls.

Tonight is a busy night in our house. My middle daughter will be going to her 8th grade prom with her “friend”. And the rest of the family will be going to the Monster Truck Jam at the PNC Arena in Raleigh.  That is just the start of the plans.  I am thinking strawberry picking tomorrow. Oldest restarts her job (she works on a vegetable farm) so we will probably go and pick there. Sunday is our anniversary. No plans :(((( No plans for the rest of the week except for taking it easy. The only other thing we have planned is to see a Soccer game on Saturday. The Carolina Railhawks is a professional team in Cary and we were offered a chance to go see them.  So as Spring Break goes just waiting to see what it holds.
