What is the number one thing on most Christmas wish lists? Cellphones or electronics, am I right? I know with my girls especially Mikaela and Gracie they always want an upgrade on their phones. And normally they get an upgrade when I get one meaning that they get my old phone.

But what happens to their old phones you ask? Well right now if you open any junk drawer (don’t laugh everyone has one. But somehow, we tend to have more than one.) in our kitchen you will find at least one or two cell phones that have been downgraded. They are our just in case phones, but how many just in case phones do we need.

If only there was some way to get cash for these discarded phones? I know right. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I could do just that with TradeMore. They offer awesome prices on a variety of products. Like for instance,  payouts are substantially higher than the competition. For example, they are paying $411 for an iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB while the top competitor pays $355. Yep, folks, that don’t just take cellphones they take tablets and wearables as well. And I love that they offer a Mastercard Debit Card in exchange for your trade-ins. Because when you think about it we are a debit card society, I mean I hardly ever carry cash anymore.

Trade in is super easy. And it only takes some simple and easy steps.

  • Go to TradeMore
  • Search for the device you want to trade
  • Tell about the condition of your device
  • Complete the trade by giving all the information that is needed.

In a few days, you will receive an envelope to ship your device to TradeMore. No driving to the post office, which is a plus for me as the post office is in the opposite direction I go every morning. Once the device is evaluated payment will be made.

Yep folks, that is all you need to make a trade plus I am all about All Green Recycling. No money out of your pocket for shipping.

  1. Really good to know! I am always looking for the best ways to recycle old electronics. I hate to have them clutter the house, but also hate to toss them into the landfill!
