Random Acts Of Kindness With Staples
This post is brought to you by Staples.
Random acts of kindness is not a new concept but companies getting involved with random acts are. I was challenged to spin kindness this holiday season and that is exactly what I did.
When thinking of the underpaid and unappreciated members of society I look no further than the classroom. I have seen firsthand the amount of time and amount of their own money they spend so that their students can have the items that are necessary to create for their students a proper learning environment.
That is why when I was given an awesome chance to team up with Staples and Boogie Wipes to give back to teachers, I jumped at the chane. In addition to staying in stock with classroom needs all year long, Staples helps makes more saving happen for educators with the Staples Teacher Rewards program.
The Teacher Rewards program gives participating teachers up to 5% back in Staples Rewards, free shipping on staples.com, 10% back in Staples Rewards on teaching and art supplies and ink recycling rewards. Staples also has an expanded teacher and educational supply selection on staples.com to support educators throughout the year. Products that are available at stores and staples.com include classroom décor, activity books and teaching aids. Staples help teachers Make More Happen with all their classroom supplies.
During a shopping trip to our local dollar store, I picked up 6 reusable tote bags. These bags I was going to turn into Random Acts of Kindness Bags.
In these bags, I placed name tags, file folders, library card holders, label strips, as well as some Boogie Wipe samples. My daughters took them to their school and passed them out to their teachers. All the teachers were so appreciative of these supplies for the classroom. In fact one teacher emailed me and said she couldn’t wait to decorate her classroom. This little bag of kindness might not have been filled but it did show their teachers how much we appreciate all that they do to sacrifice to teach my girls. The teachers at my daughters’ school go above and beyond the scope of their job. They truly care about their students as was never more evident than when Gracie got sick last year.
So what have you done to spin kindness this holiday season? Guess what I am doing beside this random act of kindness I am giving away a classroom kit, valued at $75. Just use the rafflecopter form below to enter.
I will use this myself because I am a homeschool teacher!
I home school my kiddos so I would probably use it myself but I also have a lot of teacher friends that I would share with too!
I homeschool so I would be using this for myself! Thanks for the chance!
