look twiceHave you ever found yourself Looking Twice at decisions that you make? Second guessing yourself almost to the point that your life takes a downward spiral or starts to spend out of control. Well in the next installment in The Blaze of Glory series, Look Twice, Tea is once again dealing with the repercussions of a relationship with some who is considered family. You see Tea’s mom married Dec, but soon after she died leaving Dec to raise Tea and her brother Seth. So in a sense Dec is Tea’s dad, enter Dec’s nephew, Jaden.  Jaden and Tea both have feelings for each other and decide to enter into a relationship with each other. This causes a lot of upheaval within the structure of the family.

I reviewed the first installment of this series a while ago, you can read my review here.

I found it very refreshing to find a series that did not allow the characters to stay still. M. Garzon, the author, allowed her characters in this installment of the series to go and evolve.  They had to face very difficult decisions and do a lot of soul searching to come to a decision that was best for their lives. Sometimes it was not what the family wanted but it in the end they knew it was best for their lives.

This is a great book for anybody really. There is a lot about life on working horse stable, family life, being raised by a single parent and even an issue about finding biological parents. So if you are looking for a great summer read, this is the book for you.

Also In May and June, the author is donating 10% of the profits from both the books in this series (any format) to a horse rescue called A Horse Tale. For more information about the Author and this series check out the website.
