Join Iris and Her Dragonflies On An Adventure: A Review
Iris and the Dragonflies by Rosemary Daniels is an amazing story mixed with mythical creatures, fantasy and modern life. Imagine if you will learning that you have a special gift and not realizing how special it really is.
Iris is in middle school and struggles with being accepted for who she really is. She is constantly being pestered by twin boys, Timmy and Tommy. She has a love for nature and especially dragonflies. They become her special friends. The boys learn that they can upset Iris by destroying her friends.
In this awesome book, Iris spends a summer in Ireland getting close to her Grandmother Clara where she finds that she has some hidden talents. When she returns to school the following year she becomes impassioned with saving her beloved creek where her friends the dragonflies live. She becomes entrenched in a mythical battle that will sure to grab the reader’s attention.
