Intentional About Celebrating Everyday
Today is another post in the series about erasing the negative images we see every day. I hope you are enjoying this series as much as I have enjoyed sharing these brave women with you. Just in case you missed any of this series, you can catch up by clicking giving back in the menu.
Today I am proud to have Mary Leigh from Live Well Play Together. I meet her at one of the Trifabb’s meetups at Kendra Scott. I have enjoyed getting to know her she has such a sweet kind heart. I hope you enjoy her story.
I love this picture of myself because it embodies so much of my everyday life – which I want to be intentional about celebrating. I’m wearing my “mama bear” t-shirt which is fitting for me as a stay-at-home mom, my favorite earrings from a small, mom-owned shop, and my hair is down, which means I was able to wash it recently (hello, self-care!).
It’s so easy to get caught up in wanting to have or do the next best thing, but it’s also important to take time to embrace the season that you’re currently in – and for me – this is a season full of fun with my two boys, but also challenging as I work to be consistent and teach them well.
Embracing the now and celebrating it – the good AND the challenging is something that I try to do every day and encourage others to do in my life and through my blog. I don’t have it down pat always, but it’s almost always on my mind.
Let’s celebrate the small things together! There is always SOMETHING to be thankful for!
