Inflatable Memories

This post was made possible through a partnership with Inflatable Zone.

But the memories are all my own.

Inflatable Memories

When my girls were little, I remember the parties that I use to throw for them. One of the most memorable parties was one where we had some inflatable. We got a bouncy castle sort of like this one like found on inflatablezone.

I remember that we rented it for the weekend and after all the kids were gone, my husband and I had fun jumping inside with our girls. It was fun to be a kid again. I think we spent hours inside it jumping. The girls got such a kick out of mom and dad bouncing around with them. They were sad when we had to return it. But what great memories we had of that weekend.

Have you ever rented something for no particular reason than to enjoy it with your family? I mean we buy or rent movies to enjoy with our families.  Why not buy/rent something that not only entertains but also allows for the chance for your family to enjoy some physical activity as well. Just look at this bubble ball.

We had something similar to this that one of my girls won through their elementary school one year, but it wasn’t for water. The girls had some much fun rolling around our backyard while our sweet puppy, Winnie, chased them. Sure there were a few fights over whose turn it was and why their sister was taking so long. But I also recalled the giggles and shrieks of laughter when they were rolling around in it. Plus the other girls who were waiting their turn to roll around in it were dying of laughter watching the faces that their sister was making. I mean seriously it was one of the fondest memories I have of my girls. But I think they would have had so much more fun with nesse link, because it would be cool to roll out onto the water. I wish that our pool was big enough for something like this, but sadly it isn’t. But what a great way to go out on the water and see the sea life floating below you. I mean seriously how cool would that be?

Now that I am older I am starting to look back on the things that we did with the girls and smile. But I am also looking forward to the future and somewhere a little further down the road that I will buy bubble soccer so that my grandkids will be able to enjoy inflatables as much as my girls did.
