Chicken with rice

Rice and chicken are the basic ingredients to get started in the world of homemade food for the dog. VeterinArian Arija advises “opt for white rice, as it is good quality food.” Brown rice is another alternative, but do not abuse it, as too much fiber can cause diarrhea for your dog.

The first step is to cook the rice until it is a little past, to facilitate the access of the enzymes of the digestive system of the can to the starch of the grains. The cooking time is around 15 minutes.

The chicken is made while the rice is prepared. The best part is the breasts since you should select lean meat, without too much fat, which does not remain or contain bones. There are two options for cooking: boil it in water or grill it. Once done, the rice is added, and that’s it! Now serve it to your dog.
