Charity begins at home but it can also begin when purchasing your Christmas decorations. This season when you are looking for the perfect Christmas tree or Christmas wreath or for that matter Christmas decorations consider buying one from Tree Classics. They are donating a $1.00 from every purchase to an organization that helps those that suffer from severe traumatic brain injury.

Trymunity was started after the son of the founders was in car accidents and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. The founders became advocates for this victim and eventually started a non-profit organization to help those that suffer. This organization provides support to help those dealing with this injury. It is not just about the individual it is also about the family. They are there to help find the resources that will help victims and their families deal with all that life has to throw at them. Because let’s face it life tends to throw a lot of curve balls at you when you least expect it and we all need support. But when you suffer from a life changing injury that support is needed more than ever.

I love to help companies that are all about giving back to those that need it. It is during this time of the year that we have to think about those that are less fortunate than us. Sure this year has been rough for us in more ways than one but there is always those that are worse off than we are. I also could identify with this organization as a mom who has a daughter who suffers from a brain disorder although it was not caused by an injury it is still very new to us.
