Easy Ways to Revamp Your Bedroom
New Year!! New outlook!! Now is the time to make changes in your life and your home. The first room that I always focus on is the bedroom. And no not the way you are thinking, (well maybe just a little) so get your mind out of that gutter and back into the redecorating mode. My bedroom is my place of peace away from the insanity that is my life. There are several easy ways to revamp your bedroom without breaking the bank. Accessories are very easy addition to a bedroom. Whether it a new throw pillow for your bed or a cool lamp for your bedside table, accessories can change the whole look of your room. Try looking on clearance racks, yard sales and second hand stores for those funky items that will add a little life into your room.
The next thing that you can do to change the look of your bedroom is buy a new bedding set. I have several that I have been able to find on sale that allows me to change my room whenever the mood strikes me. Buying a bedding set and mixing the new with the old will allow a different look for your bedroom.
Also do not forget that a cool throw rug can give your room that little revamping that it might need. Add some cool pictures frames with photos of family and friends and you are on your way to a cool new bedroom for less than the cost of those designer rooms that we all drool over. I do want to say that I am impressed with your story and I – being a law student with 3 children in a two bedroom apartment – am inspired by the idea of re-evaluating ones’ goals in life. I and my wife have long been dreaming of the day we can show our family and friends our big house and nice cars, living like a well-to-do attorney. However as of late I feel that the less I have the simpler my life is, the happier I am. Thanks for your example and story.
