Decorated Pumpkins With A Twist
Having been sick for a couple of weeks now I have time to look through magazines for ideas about blog posts and crafts for the upcoming holiday season. I ran across in one magazine an idea on an alternative way to decorate pumpkins. They had used ribbons to spell out BOO on three pumpkins. Well that is all it took to get my creative juices flowing. I had bought a whole bunch of carveable Styrofoam pumpkins a while back at the dollar store. ( Have I mentioned how much I love the Dollar Store??) I also had ribbon and an old black chain I was waiting to do something with. So the idea came to me instead of doing Boo on the pumpkins why not do our last name. Here is the finished product I used black chain and small screws to make these. The hardest part about these was cutting the chain. I have no strength in my hands so I had Raul do it for me.
I tried 2 different placements and decided I like the above picture and the way it looked than the one below.Â
