When you have kids, birthdays are one of the most magical times ever. They always remember birthdays when they’re young, and they seem to around really slowly. That’s why you should make sure you make the most of them! As we get older, birthdays lose their magic and just seem to fly by. If you want to treat your kids to a birthday party, here are some cool ideas to make them go ‘wow’.
OK, if you’re on a bit of a budget, or perhaps you just don’t want to spend a fortune on balloons, you can make them look really cool yourself. This is a great tip whether you’re decorating your home, or going to a venue and decorating that. Use regular balloons to spell out their age, and even the first letter of their first name. They’ll love it!
Going for a TV or film theme for your kids party should get the kids really excited, and it’s a good way to get them to dress up too. Fancy dress parties are always a lot more exciting than regular parties! You could base their party around their favorite film; maybe The Jungle Book or Batman. You could even base it around a book, or do something that allows the kids a little more freedom with their costumes, like animals or superheroes.
Make Everything Glow In The Dark
How about having a glow in the dark party? Making everything glow in the dark is a great idea for younger kids – they’ll be amazed at all of the glow in the dark decor, and you can get just about everything in glow in the dark form these days.
How about a party that’s full of rainbows and glitter? Girls will love this idea. You’ll probably have to tidy up for a little longer after, but it’ll be worth it when you see the look on your daughter’s face. Maybe you could even throw in some mythical unicorns for good measure!
Take Them To Laser Tag
Getting out of the house and having a party at laser tag has many advantages. It’s one of the best places for a birthday party as you don’t need to tidy up afterward. You won’t need to worry about decor or anything like that; you simply let the kids in and they start having fun! Afterward, you’re usually able to get food and drinks. Sorted!
Hire An Entertainer
How about hiring an entertainer for your party? It could be somebody to dress up as a character they love and play the part for a while, a balloon artist, or even a clown. Just bear in mind that some of the kids may not like clowns! If you’re on a budget, you could potentially get a friend to do this for you.
Build A Stage
If your kids love to perform, why not set up a makeshift stage? They’ll love being able to perform in front of their friends like rock stars, and they could even start their own talent show.
