Breakfast Ideas for you

 Is your family like mine and breakfast time is grab and go? Well if they are here are some breakfast ideas that you can make sure that your family is getting a healthy breakfast in their stomach. Breakfast bars are all the rage right now. Here is a recipe that will have your family asking for more. First you will need to get these ingredients: 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 3/4 cup peanut butter, and 4 cups granola or 3 cup oat cereal. Once you have all the ingredients assembled, place the chocolate chips in 2 qt. bowl and heat in microwave, uncovered, on high for 3-4 minutes or until melted. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Next, fold in granola. Spread into waxed paper lined 8×8 inch pan and chill. Store in the refrigerator. These are so yummy that your kids will be asking for more.

Another breakfast idea is yogurt. But not just plain yogurt. Here is what you need to make a fabulous yogurt breakfast bite: crunchy whole grain breakfast cereal, fat free or low fat yogurt (plain, vanilla or fruit flavored) and some fresh fruit. First you put yogurt in a bowl. Then you pour your cereal onto another plate. Next stick a toothpick in a piece of fruit. And then pick up the fruit by the toothpick and dip into the yogurt. Roll the yogurt covered fruit in the cereal to coat the fruit. Lastly you pop them in your mouth to eat. This will make breakfast fun and fabulous for everyone involved.
