A Good “Fit” for the Role! Jobs That Keep You Healthy

Sometimes we are on the lookout for a job that is just a bit more than what we are accustomed to. If you have boundless energy or you are fed up with sitting down, it’s time to shake it up, but what’s the best way to do this? If you are looking for something to keep you focused and fit, you’ve got to find roles that are going to help you maintain a level of fitness and improve your well-being in the process. There are plenty of jobs that involve physical activity; these are some of the most exciting and diverse.

Personal Trainer

A personal trainer is not just someone that tells their clients to do a “few more reps,” but they do a lot more and can diversify their disciplines in the process. For example, you can train as an indoor cycling instructor, and pilates instructor, as well as many other practices to add strings to your bow. If you are someone that thrives within a gym environment and you are already keen on keeping fit, this is a natural progression. However, it’s important to remember that you may have to work unsociable hours which isn’t always ideal as a parent.

Chiropractor

If you have a natural interest in medicine and physiology, this can be a logical extension to keeping fit. It requires a lot of upper body strength, but also when looking at practices where you are working with patients in this manner, there are many other roles that can be beneficial. So consider a job as a St George chiropractor to help keep fit. Even a job like a massage therapist can require a significant amount of strength!

Tour Guide

If you like being on your feet all day and if you are used to it anyway, you can provide a very exciting experience for people in any given location. Tour guides are one of those roles that don’t always come up, but there is no reason why you can’t start your own tour guide company and provide a unique spin on the situation. For example, there are companies that offer tours with a new twist, such as a silent disco

Gardener

It’s amazing how much physical work can go into keeping your garden maintained. Landscape professionals maintain gardens and lawns, as well as design landscapes. Naturally, as part of this role, you end up using a lot of heavy equipment like wheelbarrows and lifting up large bags of soil.

Construction Worker

If you are trying to fit fitness into your life and you are looking for a challenge, a construction worker operates a variety of heavy machinery. You may think that you’re not necessarily built for this type of role, but the fact is that there are so many different roles out there that are looking to break away from being classed as only masculine roles. It’s important to remember that physically we are all able to build and maintain strength, regardless of who we are!

There are plenty of other roles available from firefighter to the mail carrier and, of course, police officer. If you’re looking to keep fit as a job and are looking for a new and exciting career, some of these can provide an amazing starting point to a whole new career trajectory.
