4 Extraordinary Bucket List Adventures

4 Extraordinary Bucket List Adventures from NC Lifestyle Blogger Adventures of Frugal Mom

If y’all are anything like me, you have enough plans to last you several lifetimes. From unforgettable experiences to the sweetest memories, there are many trips I’m itching to take. That’s why I keep an ever-growing list of places to see and things to do. Here are just some of the extraordinary bucket list adventures that I want to cross off someday.

European Vacation

Okay, so there are endless European vacations you can take. That’s the fun part. From an exploration of history to a food tour across several countries, you can get anything you want out of a European trip. Hit up the classic destinations or travel off the beaten path. Personally, I think I’d like to do both—multiple times.

See the Northern Lights

Many people have the Northern Lights as one of their bucket list adventures; after all, who doesn’t want to see the sky light up in a dozen brilliant colors? There are so many ways to see the Northern Lights—from Alaskan cruises to snowy cabins in Canada to a getaway at Noorderlicht in IJsland—but the one that appeals most to me is probably a trip to Iceland. There are plenty of tours across the country that revolve around seeing the lights, and the capital city of Reykjavik is a bucket list destination in and of itself.

Road Trip in an RV

Bucket lists are all about doing something new, right? An RV trip would be a totally unique experience. I can’t think of a better way to experience the great outdoors while keeping some homey comforts with us. Plus, with all the fantastic RV-friendly destinations, a road trip across the country would be packed with extraordinary experiences.

Get Lost in the Mountains

Who doesn’t want to experience the mountains? While you can have the trip of a lifetime at a ski resort, there’s something so refreshing about finding the perfect secluded sanctuary. I’d love to spend a long weekend in a cozy cabin. With roaring fires and gorgeous, snow-covered alpine views, a few days in mountainous tranquility would be the perfect retreat to reset your mind, body, and soul.
