Create Your Own Popcorn Bar
This post is sponsored by Brazi Bites.
This past weekend, we had the first of many meetings for Gracie’s upcoming Quinceanera in April. Gracie wanted a little get together so that everyone could get used to being around each other. We were trying to figure out what to serve everyone because Gracie has a large court. Total of 20 teenagers – that is a lot.
We decided to make an old-fashioned popcorn bar. I did something like this when Maddie graduated from high school, and it was a blast. Plus it is a cheap way to provide food for a ton of teenagers. Here is what you will need to create a popcorn bar of your own. (You can add any toppings you like.)
Ingredients
- microwave popcorn ( It just makes it easier and quicker)
- bag of chocolate chips
- bag of mini marshmallows
- bag of M&M’s
- bag of Skittles
- bag of gummy bears
- Brown paper lunch bags
Directions
- Fill each brown paper bag with one of the toppings. For example, in one bag you should have M&M’s and the next bag another topping until you have all bags filled.
- Roll the sides of the paper bag down, so you have easy access to the toppings.
- Put a spoon into each topping bag.
- Pop popcorn
- Place popped popcorn in a bowl.
- Set out some more brown paper bags so that the guest can serve themselves. And they can choose the topping that they would like for their popcorn.
Yep folks it was that easy, but of course, I didn’t just serve popcorn, I also served some amazing Brazi Bites. These are Brazilian cheese bites that taste almost like pizza. They are made from fresh cheese and have nothing artificial in them. They are also made with tapioca flour, so they are totally gluten free. Which is a plus because when you are feeding someone else’s kids, you can’t be too careful.
I loved how quick and easy they were to make. I popped them in the oven for 20 minutes, and they were ready to serve. I so will be making these again as they were a big hit with Gracie’s friends.

So tell me what do you serve a bunch of hungry teenagers?
