Winter is Bootie Season
I received a pair of booties in exchange for this review.
One of the things I love about winter and fall is getting to wear my blue jeans. I tend to avoid wearing jeans in the hot North Carolina springs and summers but when fall comes around, I am all about them.
I am the type of person that when I see something I like in the store and they don’t have it in my size, I will totally go online to order them, especially when it comes to shoes. I have a pair of gray booties that I have had for years that I totally love.
So when I was asked if I wanted to try a pair of booties from Arcopedico, I thought sure why not. Silently thinking they aren’t going to replace my gray booties. I was able to choose from three different styles L19 (makes a great travel shoe as the Lytech* upper folds up to a small size in your suitcase, but will regain its shape as soon as you put it on.) L8 (has built-in arch support for all-day comfort) and the Luana ( This bootie has side goring which allows for even more flexibility to fit the shape of your feet. The supportive sole is on a slight wedge to give a fashionable appearance while maintaining the comfort Arcopedico is famous for.) I chose the Luana because I am all about suede.
I will admit that when they came in the mail, I wasn’t to impressed with how they looked and I was a little shocked at the price tag. But I decided to have an open mind and just try them on.
So I did and I can honestly say that they are my go-to shoes now. They are so comfortable and I can stand for long periods of time with these on, something I couldn’t do without my back hurting when I was wearing my gray booties. And they are totally worth the price even though they are little pricey, but then again I think about all the money I will be saving on medicine for my backaches and it is so worth it.
Here is a little more about Arcopedico. They are extremely comfortable. And I can tell you these booties are made to be worn for hours on end (which makes them perfect for travel or those who are on their feet all day). They also provide excellent support and have side zippers for ease of taking the shoes on and off. Even better? They weigh less than a pound, the majority of which are vegan, washable and crushable. How awesome is that? They are sold on their site, as well as in brick and mortar stores nationwide.
