Tidy Tuesday Update

Sorry I didn’t post the tidy yesterday. This week’s tidy actually occurred over a two day time period. Now that the girls are out of school I wanted to focus on Gracie’s room. Being nine she has not quite grasped the concept of keeping her room clean. ( This is a concept that my 13 yr old is just beginning to master). Here is what the room looked like before:
With a little creative rearranging and some awesome finds. Here is the finished product.
We shifted her bed down and moved her princess table to the corner
and  put her Tangled Tower on it.

Remember the post Letter Art. Here is the finished product.
The wall art I got at the Dollar store.

Her toy storage bins, I moved to where her table was.

This is one of my favorite pictures of her. She was 2 1/2 in this one.
The wall art came from the Dollar Store also.

Her desk and TV stand. The desk was a freebie from Freecycle.
I loved that one. And yes that is a Christmas tree in the pic. We use it to organize the hair bows and headbands that I make for her.

I absolutely love this quote by Dr. Seuss.
That plus the flowers were also Dollar Store finds.

The door going into her room.
Her halloween Costume from several years ago is
hanging to the side.
She was Dale Jr. imagine that.

Her bathroom (she shares with her sister) door.
Have to have a picture of Dale Jr. in there.

Her new curtains. Awesome right. I paid $4.00 a piece for each curtain.
They are actually shower curtains. ( I went shopping at the outlet again).
The hooks are actually shower curtains hooks and were all white when we
bought them. With a little help from my new best friend, Permanent Markers,
We were able to make them work for her room. We kept 4 white and colored the rest.

Another view of the curtains.
The flowers above were also another Dollar Store find.
Well, what do you think??
What have you tidied today?
