Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy for the sole purpose of this review. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.

I am a big fan of shows that are about house flipping. I often dream of one day buying a house  and restoring it from top to bottom. When I was offered the chance to review The Flip bu Michael Phillip Cash, I jumped at the chance.

FLIPfront

Here is a brief summary of the book.

Julie and Brad Evans are house flippers. They buy low , clean out the old occupants junk, and try to make a profit. Enter Hemmings House on Bedlam Street in scenic Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. Too good a deal to pass up, but with an ominous secret. The old Victorian Mansion has dwellers that do not want to leave. As the house reveals the past, will the couples marriage survive The Flip?

This book has it all. Horror, suspense, thrills as well as paranormal activity, who wouldn’t want to read this? It is really a page turner. I found myself excitedly reading the book trying to guess what will happen next? I loved how the book switches between modern day and the past. It gives the reader more of a glance into the history of the house.

I can honestly say that I am becoming a huge fan of Mr. Cash. You may  remember that I reviewed his books Stillwell as well as The Hanging Tree. He is becoming one of my favorite authors to read I have several more books I am planning to read after surgery so look for more reviews to come. To find out more about this exciting book as well as others he has written check out his website. You won’t regret it.
