If you were like me last Wednesday I was glued to the TV to see who would win American Idol. I erupted with a shout when Scotty McCreery’s name was announced. I shouted so loud that my daughter, Maddie thought I had won something. I was a Scotty fan from the beginning. He like me is from North Carolina. In fact the town he is from is less than an hour away from where I live. The other week we passed through it on our way to the Carolina Railhawks soccer game. You could see signs all along the highway stating this is Scotty Country. North Carolina could not have a better person to represent it than this fine young man. Congrats Scotty!!! represent North Carolina well.
