Savoring the Flavors of Summer

Even though summer may be gone that doesn’t mean you have to put away all things that you enjoyed during the summer. I mean here in the south we still are wearing shorts and going barefoot and will probably be doing that for a while. One of the other things that we will probably be doing for a while is having backyard BBQs and get-togethers. I love it when I can have friends and family over just to chat and have some fun.
I get such a kick out of planning parties, from the menu to the decor. I always make sure to include a quick, easy and refreshing item on the menu. And most of the time my go-to item is LUIGI’S REAL ITALIAN ICE. Because in North Carolina, this is not only great to have on hand for a party but it also is a great snack for me to grab before I go out to work in the Blog cabin. I love how easy they are to find in the grocer’s freezer section and I also love that there is always a printable coupon download so you save.
I love that I can grab these items from my grocer’s freezer case and go without feeling guilty about what my family is eating.
