Making Time For Romance

After 17 years of marriage I have been struggling with how to keep our marriage strong and how to survive with all three of our girls leave the nest. Maddie is 16 and a junior in high school and soon she will be in college. Mikaela starts high school next year and Gracie will be in middle school soon so that leaves Raul and I staring at each other faces lol. I do not want to fall into the trap of when the kids leave the parents split up. I have seen to many marriages that last for many years only to collapse once the kids are gone. I so do not want that to happen. So I have made it my mission to find things that Raul and I can do that does not cost a lot of money but still always us to spend time together. I mentioned this to one of my blogging friends and they suggested I check out this free site called  Lovendar . The basic concept behind this site is to make time for love.  (Oh and did I mention that it was free to use) To many times the stresses of everyday life get in the way and romance gets thrown out the door. But with Lovendar, you can schedule just a simple romantic gesture to become a part of your day. I know what you are saying right now, scheduling romance??? But when it is forgotten for a long time we need to schedule it just so we can get back into the habit of making that time. Before too long, you won’t have to schedule it anymore. That is the fun thing about it. Like today I decided to schedule a walk with Raul for tomorrow because we both need exercise and the fresh air will do us good. What are you putting in your schedule to bring romance back into your life?
